| .How to sort your bulky waste | | |
Please wrap the following items separately in transparent plastic bags
and deposit at the far corner of the parking lot behind no. 9,
Helsingforsgade. Plastic bags are available at the janitor’s
office free of charge.
Small- to medium-sized scrap
iron and metals: (pots, pans, cutlery and similar)
Small- to medium-sized
electrical equipment: (shavers, toasters, cameras, coffee
machines, power cables, computer hardware accessories, battery-operated
toys and similar)
Small- to medium-sized flammables:
(polystyrenes, leather materials, umbrellas (free of PVC’s),
plastic tubs and boxes, non-battery-operated toys, duvets and similar)
PVC plastic materials:
balls, raincoats, rubber boots, shower curtains, Venetian blinds,
garden hoses, artificial leather products, inflatable paddling pools,
tents, cables and similar plastic items.
Paint, varnish, glue and
similar chemicals
The following items need not be wrapped due to their bulky
size:
Large-sized scrap iron
and metals: barbecues, gardening tools, lawn
movers, ironing boards, furniture, wooden Venetian blinds, typewriters
Bicycles
must be clearly marked as waste material, before they will be removed.
Please attach a note, saying “Storskrald”
Large-sized electrical
equipment: Computers, TV-sets, parabolic antennas,
solariums, sewing machines.
Large-sized flammables:
Carpets – please roll up and tie with string (max size 1,5
metres), furniture, sleighs, mattresses.
Electric household
equipment: washing machines, freezers, stoves,
dishwashers, tumble dryers.
Cardboard:
corrugated cardboard and cardboard boxes (please fold and tie up for
easier handling).
As for batteries and
spray cans:
All types of batteries ad spray cans must be deposited in a box
available in the laundry. |
